For outdoor recreation, La Center offers plenty of options for biking, hiking, and walking. Sternwheeler Park is a perfect place to enjoy a quiet stroll around the La Center wetlands. Located on 100 East 4th Street, La Center, Washington 98629, Sternwheeler Park also features an award-winning amphitheater that hosts movie viewings and concert series during summer. Holley Park is a versatile park that offers a variety of outdoor activities for the family. It includes a splash pad, skate path, basketball field, softball field, and soccer field. The park also has a playground, tennis court, and picnic tables. Elmer Soehl Park and Heritage Park are neighborhood favorites as well.
